Keeping Learning on Track® (KLT™) brings formative assessment practice to your schools in an innovative program built on the work of Dylan Wiliam, a leading researcher in formative assessment. With KLT, teachers and students gather evidence of learning and adapt classroom behavior to meet immediate learning needs to accelerate student growth.

This is a two-year professional development program that builds teacher experts in formative assessment practice and creates communities of practice.

  • Phase 1: Training Teacher Leader
  • Three one-day workshops build expertise in a core set of leaders.
  • Phase 2: Building Local Capacity
  • Teacher experts bring the practice to their schools and develop ongoing Teacher Learning Communities (TLC) to deepen the practice.

The KLT Program helps improve teaching practice by providing professional development in Five Key Strategies:
